1.3Delete page 3, line 20, to page 4, line 4, and insert:
1.4"(c) The chief information officer, in consultation with the Technology Advisory
1.5Committee, must report to the chairs and lead minority members of the House of
1.6Representatives and Senate committees with jurisdiction over state government finance
1.7by January 15, 2012, on:
1.8(1) the savings that the chief information officer estimates will be generated in the
1.9provision of the information technology systems and services in Minnesota Statutes,
1.10section 16E.051, each fiscal year through the fiscal year ending June 30, 2015, compared
1.11to the base in the fiscal year ending June 30, 2011;
1.12(2) recommendations for allocating the estimated savings among: state agencies
1.13receiving services through the Office of Enterprise Technology; the technology
1.14improvement account; and state agency and Office of Enterprise Technology employees;
1.15and
1.16(3) recommendations for how service-level agreements between state agencies
1.17and the Office of Enterprise Technology could include financial incentives and penalties
1.18related to allocation of savings to the technology improvement account."
