WAYS AND MEANS COMMITTEE

MINUTES

Representative Rena Moran, Chair of the Committee, called the remote Ways and Means Committee meeting to order at 5:30 P.M. on Tuesday, May 11, 2021, pursuant to House rule 10.01. The meeting was conducted over Zoom and broadcast via House Public Information Services and Facebook Live.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Olson moved to adopt the minutes from Friday, May 7, 2021. THE MOTION PREVAILED.


SF1712 (Nelson, M.) Omnibus Pension and Retirement Bill

Representative Nelson moved that SF1712 be recommended to be placed on the General Register.

Following discussion, Representative Nelson renewed the motion that SF1712 be recommended to be placed on the General Register. A roll call was taken, and the results were as follows:

SF1354 (Mariani) Noncompliant driver’s license or ID card requirements modified

Chair Moran moved that SF1354 be recommended to be placed on the General Register.

Representative Mariani moved to adopt the S1354DE1 amendment.

Representative Winkler gave an overview of the S1354DE1 amendment.

Following discussion, Representative Mariani renewed the motion to adopt the S1354DE1 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Chair Moran renewed the motion that SF1354, as amended, be recommended to be placed on the General Register. A roll call was taken, and the results were as follows:
