MINUTES

Representative Rena Moran, Chair of the Committee, called the remote Ways and Means Committee meeting to order at 10:30 A.M. on Monday, February 22, 2021, pursuant to House rule 10.01. The meeting was conducted over Zoom and broadcast via House Public Information Services and Facebook Live.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Olson moved to adopt the minutes from Tuesday, February 9, 2021. THE MOTION PREVAILED.


HF88 (Lippert) Minneapolis Veterans Home authorization for Adult Day centers

Chair Moran moved that HF88 be recommended to be placed on the General Register.

Representative Lippert gave an overview of HF88.

Ben Johnson, Legislative Director, Department of Veterans Affairs, provided testimony on HF88.

Representative Moran renewed the motion that HF88 be recommended to be placed on the General Register. A roll call was taken, and the results were as follows:

HF151 (Hansen) Environment and natural resources trust fund funding provided, and money appropriated (LCCMR FY22 Recommendations)

Representative Hansen moved that HF151 be recommended to be placed on the General Register.

Representative Hansen moved to adopt the H0151A1 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Hansen renewed the motion that HF151, as amended, be recommended to be placed on the General Register. A roll call was taken, and the results were as follows:
