TRANSPORTATION FINANCE AND POLICY COMMITTEE

MINUTES


Representative Erin Koegel, Vice-Chair of the Transportation Finance and Policy Committee, called the virtual meeting to order at 1:00pm on April 8, 2021, pursuant to House rule 10.01. The meeting was broadcast via Zoom and House Public Information Services.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Vice Chair Koegel assumed the gavel at 1:00pm.

Rep. Petersburg moved to adopt the minutes from the April 7 meeting. THE MOTION PREVAILED.


HF 1684 (Hornstein) Transportation department technical changes made to remove obsolete language dates.

Rep. Hornstein moved that HF 1684 be referred to the Taxes Committee.

Rep. Hornstein moved that the H1684DE2 amendment be adopted.

Rep. Hornstein moved the H1684A16 amendment to H1684DE2 with an oral change incorporated to the H1684A16 to “Delete lines 2.1-2.5.” THE AMENDMENT WITH THE INCORPORATED CHANGE WAS ADOPTED.

Rep. Hornstein moved that the H1684A23 amendment to H1684DE2 be adopted. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Rep. Frederick moved that the H1684A1 amendment to H1684DE2 be adopted. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Rep. Koznick gave an overview of the H1684A2 amendment.

Rep. Elkins moved that the H1684A3 amendment be adopted. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Rep. Bahr moved that the H1684A4 amendment be adopted.

Rep. Bahr requested a roll call vote. The results were as follows:

“Page 122, line 21, delete ‘1’ insert ‘31’.” THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
