MINUTES

Representative Paul Marquart, Chair of the Committee, called the virtual Tax Committee meeting to order at 1:45 P.M. on Wednesday, March 10, 2021 pursuant to House rule 10.01. The meeting is being broadcast via Zoom and House Public Information Services.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Lislegard moved the approval of the March 9, 2021 minutes. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF 363 (Reyer) Revenue recapture; disallowing claims from hospitals and ambulance services.

Representative Her moved that HF 363 be laid over for possible inclusion in an omnibus bill.

Representative Reyer presented the bill.

Representative Lislegard moved that HF 1893 be laid over for possible inclusion in an omnibus bill.

Representative Sandstede presented the bill.

Representative Lislegard moved that HF 1561 be laid over for possible inclusion in an omnibus bill.

Representative Lislegard renewed his motion that HF 1561 be laid over for possible inclusion in an omnibus bill.

HF 1813 (Youakim) Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport public infrastructure refundable construction exemption provided.

Representative Youakim moved that HF 1813 be laid over for possible inclusion in an omnibus bill.

HF 1909 (Davids) Pass through entity allowed to file and pay a pass through entity tax.

Representative Davids moved that HF 1909 be laid over for possible inclusion in an omnibus bill.

Representative Davids moved the H1909A1 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Hf 1019 (Marquart) Proposed tax expenditures required to expire, legislative Tax Expenditure Review Commission established, appointments provided, and Department of Revenue tax expenditure report requirements modified.

Representative Marquart moved that HF 1019 be laid over for possible inclusion in an omnibus bill.

Representative Marquart presented the bill.
