MINUTES

Representative Schultz, Chair of the Committee, called the meeting to order at 10:30 am on March 25, 2022, remotely via Zoom and broadcast via House Public Information Services.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Lead Albright moved that the minutes from March 24, 2022, be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF3529 (Wolgamott) Mental health data exchange authorized among law enforcement mental health units, social services, and health care providers for necessary service coordination.

HF3729 (Edelson) Nursing facility payment rates modified, elderly waiver rates modified, customized living services provided under disability waivers payment rates modified, and money appropriated.
Chair Schultz moved the A1 Amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Chair Schultz handed the gavel to Vice Chair Bahner.
HF4527 (Schultz) Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) and Minnesota food assistance program; revisor of statutes instructed to renumber related statutes.
Vice Chair Bahner laid HF4527 over for possible inclusion in the Human Services Finance and Policy Omnibus bill.
HF4447 (Schultz) Human services; frontline workforce strategies to retain, revitalize, and recruit provided; systemic critical incident review team established; ICF/DD operating payment rates increased; CFSS payment rates modified; various other provisions modified including disability and elder waiver, mental health, SNAP employment, and income tax purposes; and money appropriated.
