MINUTES

Representative Tina Liebling, Chair of the Committee, called the virtual Health Finance and Policy Committee meeting to order at 3:00 P.M. on March 14, 2022 pursuant to House rule 10.01. The meeting is being broadcast via Zoom and House Public Information Services.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Bierman moved that the minutes of March 9, 2022 be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF4113 (Vang) Mental health cultural community continuing education grant program modified.

Chair Liebling moved that HF4113 be laid over for possible inclusion in the Health Finance and Policy Committee bill.

Representative Vang presented her bill.

Chair Liebling laid over HF4113 for possible inclusion in the Committee bill.

HF4112 (Vang) Health Equity and Leadership Council created, and Rural Health Advisory Committee membership specified.

Chair Liebling moved that HF4112 be laid over for possible inclusion in the Health Finance and Policy Committee bill.

Representative Vang presented her bill.

Vice Chair Huot moved that HF4000 be laid over for possible inclusion in the Health Finance and Policy Committee bill.

Vice Chair Huot moved the H4000A1 Amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Vice Chair Huot presented his bill as amended.

Chair Liebling laid over HF4000, as amended, for possible inclusion in the Committee bill.

HF3975 (Huot) Long-term care facility resident assessment case mix classification amended.

Vice Chair Huot moved that HF3975 be laid over for possible inclusion in the Health Finance and Policy Committee bill.

Vice Chair Huot moved the H3975A1 Amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Vice Chair Huot presented his bill as amended.

Chair Liebling laid over HF3975, as amended, for possible inclusion in the Committee bill.

HF3871 (Morrison) Cancer reporting provisions changed.

Representative Morrison moved that HF3871 be re-referred to the Committee on Judiciary Finance and Civil Law.

Representative Morrison presented her bill.

Representative Morrison renewed her motion that HF3871 be recommended to pass and be re-referred to the Committee on Judiciary Finance and Civil Law.

Representative Reyer moved that HF3636 be laid over for possible inclusion in the Health Finance and Policy Committee bill.

Representative Reyer moved the H3636A1 Amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Reyer presented her bill as amended.
