MINUTES

Representative Tina Liebling, Chair of the Division, called the virtual Health Finance and Policy Committee meeting to order at 1:00 P.M. on February 1, 2021 pursuant to House rule 10.01. The meeting is being broadcast via Zoom and House Public Information Services.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

A quorum was present.

Representative Huot moved that the minutes of January 27, 2021 be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Chad Hope, Deputy Director, Purchasing and Service Delivery, Minnesota Department of Human Services, presented an overview of pharmacy benefits in public health care programs.

HF8 (Liebling) Commissioner of human services directed to establish prescription drug purchasing program, and program authority and eligibility requirements specified.

Chair Liebling moved that HF8 be recommended to pass and be re-referred to the Committee on Commerce Finance and Policy.

Chair Liebling renewed her motion that HF8 be recommended to pass and be re-referred to the Committee on Commerce Finance and Policy.
