LOCAL GOVERNMENT DIVISION MINUTES

Representative Sandra Masin, Chair of the Division on Local Government, called the virtual meeting to order at 8:30 AM on February 24, 2021 pursuant to House rule 10.01. The meeting was broadcast via Zoom and House Public Information Services.

Lead Quam moved that the minutes from February 17, 2021 be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Chair Masin moved that HF 820 be re-referred to the Committee on State Government Finance and Elections.

Representative Koegel presented HF 820, a bill for an act relating to open meeting law; public body member allowed to attend meetings from a private location more than three times in 2021.

Chair Masin moved the HF820A1 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Testifying on HF 820 as amended:

Chair Masin renewed the motion that HF 820 as amended be re-referred to the Committee on State Government Finance and Elections.

Chair Masin requested a roll call on HF 820.

Vice Chair Elkins moved the HF1140A1 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
