STATE GOVERNMENT FINANCE & ELECTIONS COMMITTEE MINUTES

Representative Michael V. Nelson, Chair of the Committee, called the virtual State Government Finance & Elections Committee meeting to order at 8:30 AM, April 6, 2021 pursuant to House rule 10.01. The meeting was conducted over Zoom and broadcast via House Public Information Services and Facebook Live.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

A quorum was present.

Representative Elkins moved that the minutes from the committee meeting on March 25, 2021 be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Chair Nelson moved the appointment of George Soule to the Campaign Finance and Public Disclosure Board be recommended to be confirmed.

The following testified on the appointment of George Soule:
Jeff Sigurdson, Executive Director, Campaign Finance and Public Disclosure Board

Chair Nelson renewed the motion that the appointment of George Soule to the Campaign Finance and Public Disclosure Board be recommended to be confirmed.
