Environment and Natural Resources Finance and Policy MINUTES
Representative Hansen, Chair of the Environment and Natural Resources Finance and Policy Committee, called the meeting to order at 1:00 P.M. on March 25th, 2021, pursuant to House rule 10.01. The meeting was conducted over Zoom and broadcast via House Public Information Services, Facebook Live, and YouTube live streaming.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll. Members present:

Chair Hansen called the meeting to order at 1:00 P.M. A quorum was present.

Rep. Heintzeman moved that the minutes from March 23rd, 2021 be approved. MOTION PREVAILED.

HF1505 (SANDSTEDE) Forestry and bioeconomy applied research funding provided, and money appropriated.

Rep. Hansen moved that HF1505 be laid over for possible inclusion in an omnibus bill. Rep. Sandstede presented the bill.
Rep. Hansen renewed the motion that HF1505 be laid over for possible inclusion in an omnibus bill and the bill was laid over.

Testifiers:
Don Fosnacht, Associate Director Natural Resources Research Institute (NRRI)

HF1506 (SANDSTEDE) State mineral and water resources funding provided, and money appropriated.

Rep. Hansen moved that HF1506 be laid over for possible inclusion in an omnibus bill. Rep. Sandstede presented the bill.
Rep. Hansen renewed the motion that HF1506 be laid over for possible inclusion in an omnibus bill and the bill was laid over.

Testifiers:

HF1877 (HANSEN) Critical habitat private sector matching account use modified, and money appropriated.

Rep. Hansen moved that HF1877 be laid over for possible inclusion in an omnibus bill. Rep. Hansen moved H1877A2 to amend HF1877, and the amendment WAS ADOPTED.
Rep. Morrison moved H1877A1 to amend HF1877, as amended, and amendment WAS ADOPTED.

Rep. Hansen presented the bill, as amended.

Rep. Hansen renewed the motion that HF1877, as amended, be laid over for possible inclusion in an omnibus bill and the bill was laid over.

Rep. Wazlawik moved that HF1014 be laid over for possible inclusion in an omnibus bill. Testimony was taken on the bill.
Rep. Marquart presented the bill.

Rep. Wazlawik renewed the motion that HF1014 be laid over for possible inclusion in an omnibus bill.
