MINUTES

Representative Hansen, Chair of the Environment and Natural Resources Finance and Policy Committee, called the meeting to order at 1:00 P.M. on March 16th, 2021, pursuant to House rule 10.01. The meeting was conducted over Zoom and broadcast via House Public Information Services, Facebook Live, and YouTube live streaming.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Chair Hansen called the meeting to order at 1:00 P.M. A quorum was present.

Rep. Fischer moved that the minutes from March 12th, 2021 be approved. MOTION PREVAILED.

HF836 (RICHARDSON) Soil health cost-sharing program established, and money appropriated.

Rep. Hansen moved that HF836 be laid over for possible inclusion in an omnibus bill.

Rep. Richardson presented HF836.

Rep. Hansen renewed the motion that HF836 be laid over for possible inclusion in an omnibus bill and the bill was laid over.

HF988 (MARQUART) Red River mediation agreement implementation funding provided, and money appropriated.

Rep. Hansen moved that HF988 be laid over for possible inclusion in an omnibus bill.

Rep. Marquart presented HF988.

Rep. Hansen renewed the motion that HF988 be laid over for possible inclusion in an omnibus bill and the bill was laid over.

Rep. Wazlawik assumed the gavel at 1:31 P.M.

HF1233 (CHRISTENSEN) Explore Minnesota Tourism funding provided, and money appropriated.

Rep. Wazlawik moved that HF1233 be laid over for possible inclusion in an omnibus bill.

Rep. Christensen presented the bill.

Rep. Ecklund moved H1233A2 to amend HF1233 and the amendment was ADOPTED.

Rep. Wazlawik renewed the motion that HF1233, as amended, be laid over for possible inclusion in an omnibus bill and the bill was laid over.

Rep. Wazlawik renewed the motion that HF1799 be laid over for possible inclusion in an omnibus bill and the bill was laid over.

Rep. Wazlawik renewed the motion that HF32 be laid over for possible inclusion in an omnibus bill and the bill was laid over.
