Representative Jim Davnie, Chair of the Education Finance Committee, called the virtual meeting to order at 3:01pm on April 27, 2021 pursuant to House rule 10.01. The meeting was broadcast via Zoom and House Public Information Services.

Rep. Erickson moved that the minutes from April 22, 2021 be approved. Motion prevailed.
HF 2471 (Davnie) This bill codes a new chapter of statutes, chapter 124F, containing provisions to increase integration in schools, create diverse magnet schools, and implement a voluntary integration program, among other provisions. The bill redirects and reorganizes the current integration revenue program and establishes a new category of revenue for school districts and charter schools participating in the culturally responsive teaching, learning, integration, and inclusion program.
Vice-Chair Sandstede assumed the gavel at 3:05pm.
Rep. Davnie presented HF 2471 in an informational hearing. No formal action was taken.
