MINUTES
Representative Lesch, Chair of the Judiciary Finance and Civil Law Division Committee, called the meeting to order at 5:27 p.m. on Monday, March 11, 2019 in Room 10 of the State Office Building.
The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Lesch began the meeting at 5:27 p.m. A quorum was present.
Representative Scott moved the minutes from March 7, 2019 for approval. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
HF 998 (Ecklund) Sentencing veterans for criminal offenses related to a service-related disorder court guidance provided.
Representative Cantrell moved the HF 998 A19 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
Representative Ecklund presented HF 998 to the committee.

HF 1731 (Daudt) Veterinary prescription monitoring program established, controlled substance veterinary prescriptions prohibited in certain circumstances, registration and data submission required, liability immunity provided, and money appropriated.
Representative Scott moved to re-refer HF 1731 to the Ways and Means Committee.
Representative Daudt presented HF 1731 to the committee.

Representative Lesch moved an oral amendment “On Page 6, line 5, delete ‘9’ and insert ‘8’. Amend the title accordingly.” THE AMENDMENT WAS INCORPORATED.
Representative Scott moved the A2 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
Representative Scott renewed her motion to re-refer HF 1731 to the Ways and Means Committee. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
HF 1731, as amended, was re-referred to the Ways and Means Committee.
HF 2083 (Considine) Jails authorized to share inmate mental illness information with local county social services agency, criminal gang investigative date retention extended, ombudsman for corrections reestablished, ombudsman powers and duties established, administrative and disciplinary segregation use in state correctional institutions guidelines established, report required, and money appropriated.
Representative Considine moved HF 2083 be re-referred to the Ways and Means Committee.
Representative Considine presented HF 2083 to the committee.
