MINUTES
Representative Tim Mahoney, Chair of the Jobs and Economic Development Finance Division,
called the meeting to order at 8:02 on March 12, 2020 in Room 200 of the State Office Building.
A quorum was present.
The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

on HF 1. MOTION PREVAILED.

Rep. Mahoney moved that HF 1 be referred to the Education Finance Division as amended. THE
MOTION PREVAILED.

HF 1405 (Stephenson) Clean Energy First Act established, and electric utilities required to meet
resource needs using clean energy resources.

Rep. Stephenson moved to refer HF 1405 to the Energy and Climate Finance and Policy
Division.

Rep. Stephenson moved to orally amend the A23 amendment as follows:
Page 1, line 1, delete “division”. Page 1, line 2, delete everything before the comma.

ADOPTED.
