HIGHER EDUCATION FINANCE AND POLICY DIVISION

MINUTES

Representative Bernardy, Chair of the Higher Education Finance & Policy Division, called the meeting to order at 2:39 P.M. on March 12, 2019, in Room 10 of the State Office Building. A quorum was present.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Vang moved to approve the minutes from March 6, 2019. THE MOTION PREVAILS.

HF 1957 (Richardson) Higher education data provisions modified.

Representative Bernardy moved HF 1957 be referred to Judiciary and Civil Law.

Representative Bernardy moved the author’s amendment labeled H1957A1 be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILS.

Representative Bernardy renewed her motion to refer HF 1957, as amended, to Judiciary and Civil Law. THE MOTION PREVAILS.

HF 2054 (Vang) Higher education policy provisions modified.

Representative Vang moved HF 2054 laid over for possible inclusion in the omnibus bill.

Representative Vang moved the author’s amendment labeled A19-0136 be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILS.

Representative Bernardy moved the second author’s amendment H2054A1 be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILS.

HF 2100 (Wolgamott) Spinal cord and traumatic brain injury research program funding provided, and money appropriated.

Representative Wolgamott moved HF 2100 be laid over for possible inclusion in the omnibus bill.
