MINUTES

Representative Liebling, Chair of the Division, called the meeting to order at 12:52 P.M. on March 11, 2020 in Room 200 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

HF1805 (Cantrell) Emergency services grant funding provided, and money appropriated.

Representative Cantrell moved that HF1805 be heard and laid over for possible inclusion in the Health and Human Services Finance Division bill.

Representative Cantrell moved the H1805A1 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Cantrell presented his bill.

Representative Cantrell renewed his motion that HF1805, as amended, be laid over for possible inclusion in the Health and Human Services Finance Division bill.

Chair Liebling laid over HF1805, as amended, for possible inclusion in the Division bill.

HF3570 (Morrison) Medical assistance coverage of health home services modified.

Chair Liebling moved that HF3570 be heard and laid over for possible inclusion in the Health and Human Services Finance Division bill.

Chair Liebling moved the H3570A1 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Morrison presented her bill.

Chair Liebling laid over HF3570, as amended, for possible inclusion in the Division bill.

HF3318 First Engrossment (Acomb) Metro Demo housing support program expanded.

Representative Acomb moved that HF3318 First Engrossment be heard and laid over for possible inclusion in the Health and Human Services Finance Division bill.

Representative Acomb presented her bill.

HF2898 Second Engrossment (Edelson) Civil commitment governing provisions modified, and engagement services pilot project established.

Chair Liebling moved that HF2898 Second Engrossment be recommended to pass and be placed on the General Register.

Chair Liebling moved the A20-0703 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Chair Liebling moved the H2898A4 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Edelson presented her bill.

Sue Abderholden, Executive Director, National Alliance on Mental Illness, responded to member questions.

Chair Liebling renewed her motion that HF2898 Second Engrossment be recommended to pass, as amended, and placed on the General Register. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF1914 First Engrossment (Edelson) Advanced practice registered nurses added to certain statutes.

Chair Liebling moved that HF1914 First Engrossment be recommended to pass and be re-referred to the Committee on Ways and Means.

Chair Liebling moved the H1914A5 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Chair Liebling moved the H1914A6 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Edelson presented her bill.

Chair Liebling renewed her motion that HF1914 First Engrossment be recommended to pass, as amended, and be re-referred to the Committee on Ways and Means. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
