MINUTES

Representative Jean Wagenius, Chair of the Energy and Climate Finance & Policy Division, called the first meeting to order at 9:47 A.M. on, January 29, 2019, in room 120 of the Capitol Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll. A quorum was present.

Representative Long moved adoption of the January 24, 2019 minutes.
THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Steve Kelley, Commissioner of the Department of Commerce, presented to the committee on the Department of Commerce Report on Energy Efficiency Potential Commissioner.

Joseph Sullivan, Manager of Legislative and External Relations, and Jamie Fitzke, Manager of Program and Policy, from the Center for Energy and the Environment (CEE) presented to the committee on their work on energy efficiency in relation to the Conservation Improvement Program (CIP).

Lissa Pawlisch, Clean Energy Resource Teams (CERT) Statewide Director, and Diana McKeown, CERT Metro Director, presented to the committee on their work on energy efficiency with Minnesota communities.

Public Testimony on efficiency:
Ken Smith, Ever-Green Energy
Jesse Turck, BWBR Architects

The meeting adjourned at 11:18 A.M.
