MINUTES

Representative Pinto, Chair of the Committee, called the meeting to order at 8:03am on March 10th, 2020 in Capitol Room 120.

A quorum was present.

Representative Heintzeman moved that minutes from March 5th, 2020, be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF1382 (Richardson) - Charter schools authorized to provide special education deaf and hard-of-hearing services to students at early ages.

Representative Kotyza-Witthuhn moved that the H1382DE1 amendment be added to HF1382. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Richardson presented HF1382, as amended.

Representative Kotyza-Witthuhn moved that HF1382, as amended, be re-referred to the Education Finance Division. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF3693 (Mann) - Children with disabilities; access to child care expansion grants authorized, and money appropriated.

Representative Bahner moved that HF3693 be re-referred to the Health and Human Services Finance Division.

Representative Bahner moved the H3693DE1 amendment be added to HF3693. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Mann presented HF3693, as amended.

Representative Bahner renewed her motion that HF3693, as amended, be re-referred to the Health and Human Services Finance Division. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF3504 (Morrison) - Preschool and kindergarten individual-use screen use limited, and money appropriated.

Representative Morrison moved that HF3504 be placed on the General Register.

Representative Morrison moved that the H3504A1 amendment be added to HF3504. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Chair Pinto laid over HF3504, as amended.

HF3672 (Noor) - Child care assistance funding priorities for eligible families modified, and fund allocation adjusted.

Representative Pryor moved that HF3672 be re-referred to the Health and Human Services Finance Division.

Representative Noor presented HF3672.

Representative Pryor renewed her motion that HF3672 be re-referred to the Health and Human Services Finance Division. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
