MINUTES
Representative Jeanne Poppe, Chair of the Division, called the meeting to order at 9:45 AM on February 18th, 2020, in Room 200 of the State Office Building.
The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Brand moved the minutes from February 13th, 2020.
The motion prevailed.
Update on the state of dairy in Minnesota:

• Lucas Sjostrom, Executive Director, Minnesota Milk Producers
Informational presentation on HF 2959 (Poppe) and Rural Finance Authority status report on funding levels:
• Matt McDevitt, Supervisor, Minnesota Department of Agriculture Rural Finance Authority
Public testimony by:
• Stu Lourey, Government Relations Director, Minnesota Farmers Union
• Josie Lonetti, Associate Director of Public Policy, Minnesota Farm Bureau
Informational presentation on HF 3309 (Vang):
• Gary Horvath, Minnesota Department of Agriculture Lab Director
• Wayne Waslaski, Director, Real Estate and Construction Services, Minnesota Department of Administration
Vice Chair Brand assumed the Chair at 10:56 AM
Representative Poppe moved HF 3296 to be recommended to be referred to the Capital Investment Committee.

Chair Poppe renewed her motion that HF 3296 be recommended to be referred to the Capital Investment Committee.
The motion prevailed.
