MINUTES
Representative Jeanne Poppe, Chair of the Division, called the meeting to order at 9:45 AM on January 29th, 2019, in Room 200 of the State Office Building.
The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

A quorum was present.
Representative Wazlawik moved to adopt the minutes from the division meeting on January 24. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
Dr. Beth Thompson, Executive Director of the Board of Animal Health, provided an overview of the Board’s function and current events related to animal health. Morgan Grelson, Business Manager, previewed the Board’s budget.
Shannon Schlect, Executive Director of the Agriculture Utilization Research Institute gave an update on AURI’s projects and finances.

Chair Poppe moved that H.F. 221 be referred to the Ways and Means Committee with a recommendation that it be re-referred to the Transportation Finance and Policy Division.
