MINUTES

Representative Dehn, Chair of the Subcommittee on Elections, called the meeting to order at 5:52 PM on February 20, 2019 in the Room 400S of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Bahner moved to approve minutes for February 13, 2019 meeting. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF673 (Lucero) Relating to campaign finance; adding payments for the security services to the list of allowable noncampaign disbursements; amending Minnesota Statutes 2018, section 10A.01, subdivision 26.

Representative Dehn moved to hear and layover the HF673 (Lucero).

Representative Lucero testified on the bill.

Jennifer DeJournett, Commissioner, Three Rivers Park District, testified on the bill via letter.

Representative Dehn moved to lay this bill over for consideration in the omnibus bill.


HF979 (Gomez) Relating to landlord tenant law; requiring landlords to provide tenants with information on voter registration; proposing coding for new law in Minnesota Statutes, chapters 201; 504B.

Representative Bernardy moved to hear and layover HF979 (Gomez).
