MINUTES

Representative Laurie Halverson, Chair of the Commerce Committee, called the meeting to order at 2:33 p.m. on March 3rd, 2020, in the Basement Hearing Room of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Davids moved to approve the minutes from the committee meeting on February 26th, 2020. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF2967 (Sauke)
Mortgage financing allowed for manufactured homes in manufactured home park cooperatives.

Representative Halverson moved HF2967 be re-referred to the Property and Local Tax Division.

Representative Halverson moved H2967DE1 (Sauke) amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Halverson renewed the motion that HF2967, as amended, be re-referred to the Property and Local Tax Division. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF3369 (Kotyza-Witthuhn)
Dog and cat sale by retail pet shops prohibited.

Representative Kotyza-Witthuhn moved HF3369 be re-referred to the Judiciary Finance and Civil Law Division.
