MINUTES

Representative Torkelson, Chair of the Transportation Finance Committee, started the thirty ninth meeting at 1:05 P.M. on Thursday, March 29th, 2018, in the Basement Room of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Torkelson moved that HF 4160 come before the committee and be laid over for possible inclusion

HF 4160 (Torkelson) - State treasury fund created, and technical and conforming changes made.

Representative Torkelson renewed his motion for HF 4160 be laid over for possible inclusion.

Representative Torkelson moved that HF 3703 come before the committee and be moved to the committee on Ways & Means.

HF 3703 (Barr) – Statewide highway investment plan revision directed to prioritize mobility investments.

Representative Torkelson renewed his motion for HF 3703 be moved to the committee on Ways & Means. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Torkelson moved that HF 3261 come before the committee and be moved to the committee on Ways & Means.

HF 3261 (Miller) - Eligibility requirements for services signs modified.

Representative Torkelson moved that HF 3463 come before the committee and be re-referred to the committee on Ways & Means.

HF 3463 (Petersburg) - Motor vehicle titling and registration provisions modified.

Representative Bernardy moved the A3 amendment. Representative Bernardy requested a roll call on the A3 amendment. The results are as follows:

Representative Torkelson moved that HF 3355 come before the committee and be sent to the General Register.

HF 3355 (Koznick) - Transportation department provisions modified, and Indian employment preference authorized.
