MINUTES

Representative Anderson, Chair called the meeting to order at 1:02 PM, March 21, 2018 in Room 10 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Pugh moved that the minutes from the committee meeting on March 15, 2018 be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF2892 (Jeanne Poppe)
Austin; regional public television station funding provided, bonds issued, and money appropriated.
Representative Anderson moved HF2892 to be referred to the Capital Investment Committee without recommendation.
Testifiers:
Eric Olson, President and CEO, KSMQ public television.

Representative Anderson renewed her motion that HF2892 to be referred to the Capital Investment Committee without recommendation. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
Representative Pugh assumed the gavel at 1:13 PM.
Financial updates from communities with proposals for a new veterans home. These communities include Bemidji, Fillmore County, and Montevideo
