MINUTES

Representative Peppin, Chair of the Rules and Legislative Administration Committee, called the meeting to order at 11:32 A.M. on May 7, 2018, in Room 120 of the State Capitol Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Peppin called the meeting to order at 11:32 A.M. A quorum was present.

Representative Albright moved that the minutes of May 3, 2018 be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Peppin moved the Calendar for the Day, May 9, 2018. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Peppin moved that Joint Rule 2.03 be waived for House File 4437. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF4437 (Torkelson) State general sales tax revenue related to motor vehicle repair and replacement parts allocated exclusively to fund roads, conforming and technical changes made, and constitutional amendment proposed.

Representative Albright moved that House File 4437 be recommended to pass and that it be re-referred to the Committee on Taxes. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Torkelson presented his bill.
