MINUTES


Representative Cornish, Chair of the Public Safety and Security Policy and Finance Committee, called the meeting to order at 12:19 PM on May 8, 2017 in Basement Hearing Room of the State Office Building. A quorum was present.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative O’Neill moved the minutes of the March 28, 2017 meeting be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF2621 (Franson) Female genital mutilation crime expanded, requirements for education and outreach updated, and definition of egregious harm expanded.

Representative Cornish moved to re-refer HF2621 to the Health and Human Services Reform Committee.

Representative Franson presented HF2621.

Representative Cornish moved the 2621A3 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Cornish moved the 2621A4 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Cornish moved the 2621A5 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
