MINUTES


Representative Cornish, Chair of the Public Safety and Security Policy and Finance Committee, called the meeting to order at 10:15 AM on March 23, 2017 in Room 10 of the State Office Building. A quorum was present.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Franke moved the minutes of the March 21, 2017 meeting be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF896 (Cornish) Public safety, courts, firefighter, corrections, crime, disaster assistance, and controlled substance provisions modified; and money appropriated.

Representative Cornish moved to re-refer HF896 to the Ways and Means Committee.

Representative Cornish moved the 896DE3 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Jeff Diebel, House Research Analyst, presented on the bill.

Benjamin Johnson, House Research Analyst, presented on the bill.
