MINUTES

Representative Fabian, Chair of the Environment and Natural Resources Policy and Finance Committee, called the meeting to order at 8:15 A.M. on March 20, 2018, in Hearing Room 5 of the State Office Building. A quorum was present.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Ecklund moved the approval of the March 15, 2018 minutes. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF3755 (Hertaus) Carbon monoxide detection device requirements relating to watercraft modified.

Representative Fabian moved HF3755 be re-referred to the General Register

Representative Fabian moved the A18-0648 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Fabian renewed his motion that HF3755, as amended, be re-referred to the General Register. THE MOTION PREVAILED.


HF3660 (Fenton) Terms of settlement between the state and 3M company implemented.

Representative Fabian moved HF3660 be re-referred to the Ways and Means Committee.

Representative Fabian moved the H3660A-1 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Fabian renewed his motion that HF3660, as amended, be re-referred to the Ways and Means Committee. THE MOTION PREVAILED.







HF3709 (Jurgens) Private well testing for contamination from PFCs in the east metropolitan area provided.

Representative Fabian moved HF3709 be laid over for possible inclusion in a future bill.

HF3666 (Fabian) Electronic device recycling requirements modified, loan program terms modified, and disposal facility certificate rulemaking required.

Representative Fabian moved HF3666 be re-referred to Government Operations and Elections Policy Committee.

Representative Fabian moved the H3666A-2 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
