MINUTES

Representative Fabian, Chair of the Environment and Natural Resources Policy and Finance Committee, started the meeting at 8:15 AM on February 22nd, 2017, in Hearing Room 5 of the State Office Building. A quorum was not present.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Fabian called the meeting to order at 8:16 AM. A quorum was present.

Representative Lueck moved to adopt the minutes of February 21st, 2017. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF 150 (Nash) Scope and muzzleloader use to take deer allowed.

Representative Fabian moved HF 150 to be laid over for possible inclusion into an omnibus bill.

Representative Fabian renewed the motion that HF 150 be laid over for possible inclusion into an omnibus bill.

HF 333 (Johnson, C.) Resident hunting licensing requirements modified.

Representative Johnson, C. moved HF 333 to be laid over for possible inclusion into an omnibus bill.

Representative Johnson, C. renewed the motion that HF 333 be laid over for possible inclusion into an omnibus bill.

HF 766 (Swedzinski) Public comment period requirements for draft impaired waters list modified, process to challenge impaired waters lists provided, and notice to publicly owned wastewater treatment facility applicants required.

Representative Swedzinski moved HF 766 to be laid over for possible inclusion into an omnibus bill.

Representative Swedzinski moved the H766A1 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
