MINUTES

Representative Joe Hoppe, Chair of the Commerce and Regulatory Reform Committee, began the meeting at 3:00 PM on February 21st, 2017, in the Basement Hearing Room of the State Office Building. A quorum was not present.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Chair Hoppe officially called the meeting to order at 3:08 PM. A quorum was present.

Chair Hoppe moved that HF1203 be re-referred to the Health and Human Services Finance Committee.

Chair Hoppe renewed the motion that HF1203 be re-referred to the Health and Human Services Finance Committee. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Nash moved to approve the minutes of February 15th, 2017. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF593 (O’Driscoll)
Real estate appraiser investigation, background check, and disciplinary action requirements changed.

Representative O’Driscoll moved that HF593 be re-referred to the Civil Law Committee.

Representative O’Driscoll moved the 593DE1 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative O’Driscoll renewed the motion that HF593, as amended, be re-referred to the Civil Law Committee. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF1043 (Baker)
Commission on Deaf, Deafblind, and Hard-of-Hearing Minnesotans funding provided, and money appropriated.

Chair Hoppe moved that HF1043 be re-referred to the Job Growth and Energy Affordability Committee.

Chair Hoppe renewed the motion that HF1043 be re-referred to the Job Growth and Energy Affordability Committee. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF1127 (Nash)
Microdistillery off-sale regulation modified, and wholesale distribution of microdistillery products regulated.

Representative Nash moved that HF1127 will be laid over for possible inclusion in an omnibus bill.

Representative Nash moved the 001127A1 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
