MINUTES

Representative Peggy Scott, Chair of the Civil Law and Data Practices Policy Committee, called the meeting to order at 8:16 AM, on February 9th, 2017, in the Basement Hearing Room of the State Office Building. A quorum was present.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Loonan moved to approve the minutes of February 2nd, 2017. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF474 (Albright) Medical Practice Board criminal background checks authorized, and physicians exempted from criminal background checks under the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact.

Representative Smith moved that HF474 be referred to the General Register.

Representative Smith renewed his motion that HF474 be referred to the General Register. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF324 (Backer) Interstate compact for the recognition of emergency medical service personnel licensure provided.

Representative O’Neill moved that HF324 be referred to the Committee on Government Operations and Elections Policy.

Representative Lesch moved to lay the bill on the table and requested a roll call. The results were as follows:

Representative O’Neill moved that HF389 be referred to the Committee on Public Safety and Security Policy and Finance.

Representative Scott recessed the committee at 9:20 AM.

Representative Scott reconvened the committee at 9:29 AM.

Representative O’Neill renewed her motion that HF389 be referred to the Committee on Public Safety and Security Policy and Finance. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative O’Neill moved to reconsider passage of HF324.

Representative Hilstrom requested a roll call on the reconsideration of HF324. The results were as follows:
