MINUTES

Representative Franson, Chair of the Select Committee on Affordable Child Care, called the meeting to order at 6:02 p.m. on Wednesday, March 2, 2016, at the Waite Park City Hall in Waite Park, Minnesota.

Legislative Assistant David Larson noted the roll.

Representative Jeff Howe introduced himself.

Representative Jim Knoblach introduced himself.

Jerry Kerber, Minnesota Department of Human Services, spoke about the Department’s work within the child care industry and answered questions of the committee and the public.

Representative Franson opened the meeting to public testimony.
