Representative Hackbarth, Chair of the Mining and Outdoor Recreation Policy Committee, called the twenty-sixth meeting to order at 2:53 P.M. on March 30, 2016, in Room 10 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Hackbarth called the meeting to order at 2:53 P.M. A quorum was present.

Representative Anzelc moved to approve the minutes of March 29, 2016. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

H.F.3516 Hackbarth, Off-road vehicle registration requirements modified, and resident trail pass provided.

Representative Hackbarth moved that bill H.F.3516 be re-referred to the Committee on Environment and Natural Resources Policy & Finance.

Dan Larson, Minnesota Four Wheel Drive Association, presented an overview of H.F.3516.

Representative Hackbarth moved the H3516A1 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Bob Meier, Assistant Commissioner of the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources, testified on H.F.3516, as amended.
