MINUTES

Representative Holberg, Republican Lead, Ways and Means Committee, called the meeting to order at 10:09 A.M. on Monday, April 28, 2014, in Room 200 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Rep. Kahn moved approval of the minutes of Tuesday, April 22, 2014. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE MINUTES WERE APPROVED.

Rep. Carlson moved that SF2175, Second Engrossment, be recommended to be placed on the General Register.

Rep. Carlson moved to amend SF2175, Second Engrossment. (See attached amendment S2175A3). THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOTPED.

Rep. Carlson presented SF2175, Second Engrossment, as amended /HF2093 (Carlson) State agencies prohibited from paying more than ten percent over the appraised value to acquire real property.

Deborah Dyson, House Research, responded to questions regarding SF2175, Second Engrossment, as amended.

Rep. Carlson renewed the motion that SF2175, Second Engrossment, as amended, be recommended to be placed on the General Register. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Chair Carlson assumed chair at 10:22 A.M.

Chair Carlson moved that SF2449 be recommended to be placed on the General Register.

Chair Carlson moved to amend SF2449, Second Engrossment. (See attached Amendment S2449A1). THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOTPED.

Chair Carlson moved to amend SF2449, Second Engrossment, as amended. (See attached Amendment S2449A6). THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOTPED.

Chair Carlson moved to amend SF2449, Second Engrossment, as amended. (See attached Amendment S2449A3). THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOTPED.

Rep. Gunther moved to amend SF2449, Second Engrossment, as amended. (See attached Amendment S2449A4). THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOTPED.

Rep. Hausman moved to amend SF2449, Second Engrossment, as amended. (See attached Amendment S2449A5). THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOTPED.

Rep. Erickson, R. presented SF2449, Second Engrossment, as amended (HF2301, Second Engrossment, Erickson, E.) Omnibus Lands Bill.

Chair Carlson renewed the motion that SF2449, as amended, be recommended to be placed on the General Register. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

The meeting was adjourned at 10:31 A.M.
