MINUTES

Representative Murphy, Chair of Committee on State Government Finance and Veterans Affairs, called the meeting to order at 8:05 AM May 1, 2013 in Room 200 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Gary Goldsmith presented an overview of HF 863 (Winkler) Campaign finance additional disclosure provided for, and various changes made to campaign finance and public disclosure law.

Rep. Simon moved that HF 863 be recommended to pass and be re-referred to the committee on Ways and Means. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Rep. Winkler discussed HF 863

Rep. Simon moved H0863A10 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Rep. Freiberg moved reconsideration of HF 863, first engrossment, to be recommended to pass and be re-referred to the committee on Ways and Means. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Rep. Simon moved adoption of H0863A10 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Rep. O’Driscoll moved H0863A8 amendment and requested a roll call.

Rep. Winkler opposes H0863A8 amendment.

Rep. Newton moved approval of the minutes from the meeting of April, 10, 2013. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE MINUTES WERE APPROVED.
