MINUTES

Representative Sheldon Johnson, Chair of the Labor, Workplace, and Regulated Industries Committee, called the meeting to order at 8:16 A.M. on March 5, 2014, in the Basement Hearing Room of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Simonson moved that the minutes of February 27, 2014 be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF 2300 (Melin) Employment discrimination based on status as a family caregiver prohibited.

Chair Johnson moved that HF 2300 be re-referred to the Committee on Civil Law.

Chair Johnson moved that HF 2259 be re-referred to the Committee on Commerce and Consumer Protection Finance and Policy.
