MINUTES

Representative Nelson, Chair of Committee on Government Operations, called the meeting to order at 10:04am on March 25, 2014 in Room 5 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

HF2214 (Sawatzky) Department of Transportation technical changes made, contracting requirements clarified, U-turn rules modified

Chair Nelson moved that HF2214 be recommended to be re-referred to the Committee on Transportation Finance.

HF2523 (Ward, Jo) Local public health system changes made

Chair Nelson moved that HF2523 be recommended to be placed on the General Register.

HF2664 (Nelson) MNIT State agency obsolete language eliminated and antiquated, unnecessary language modernized

Chair Nelson moved that HF2319 be recommended to be placed on the General Register.

HF2755 (Paymar) Corrections; outdated and redundant statutes amended and repealed

Chair Nelson moved that HF2755 be recommended to be placed on the General Register.

HF3017 (Paymar) Public Safety Department; outdated and redundant statutes amended and repealed

Chair Nelson moved that HF3017 be recommended to be re-referred to the Committee on Civil Law.

Chair Nelson moved to amend HF3017 (See attached H3017A1 amendment). THE MOTION PREVAILED.
