MINUTES

Representative Nelson, Chair of Committee on Government Operations, called the meeting to order at 10:21am on March 4, 2014 in Room 5 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

A quorum was present at 10:23am.

Representative Hansen moved approval of the minutes from February 26, 2014. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF1984 (Sundin) Public construction accountability and transparency enhancement provided and responsible contractor definition requirement established

Chair Nelson moved that HF1984 be recommended to be re-referred to the Committee on Commerce and Consumer Protection Finance and Policy.

Chair Nelson moved to amend HF1984 (See attached H1984DE1 amendment) THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative O’Driscoll moved to lay HF1984, as amended, on the table. THE MOTION DID NOT PREVAIL.

Chair Nelson renewed the motion that HF1984, as amended, be recommended to be re-referred to the Committee on Commerce and Consumer Protection Finance and Policy.
