Representative David Dill, Chair of the Environment and Natural Resources Policy Committee, called the fourteenth meeting to order at 4:10 p.m., on March 20, 2013, in Room 200 of the State Office Building.
The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Steve Hirsch, Ecological & Water Resources, MN Department of Natural Resources, answered questions pertaining to HF 683.
Craig Johnson, MN League of Cities, and Tony Kwilas, representing the MN Chamber of Commerce, commented on HF 683.
Chair moved that HF 683, as amended, be laid over for further consideration.
Representative Isaacson moved that HF 757 – relating to natural resources; providing Minnesota Zoo certain wild animal exemptions – be recommended to pass and be re-referred to Rules Committee.
Representative Wills presented HF 757.
Paul Anderson, Board of Animal Health, and Lee Ehmke, MN Zoo, spoke on behalf of HF 757.
Representative Isaacson renewed his motion that HF 757 be recommended to pass and be re-referred to Rules Committee.

Representative Hansen moved that HF 1442 – relating to natural resources; establishing aquatic invasive species decal requirements and fees; eliminating aquatic invasive species trailer decal requirements – be recommended to pass and be re-referred to Rules Committee.
