Representative Simon, Chair of Committee on Elections, called the meeting to order at 12:30pm March 27, 2014 in the Basement Hearing Room of the State Office Building.
The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Rep. Huntley moved approval of March 20, 2014 minutes. The motion prevailed.
HF2830 (Marquart) Becker County; county auditor-treasurer and recorded office combination process provided, and offices made appointive.
Rep. Simon moved HF2830 be re-referred to General Register.

Rep. Simon renewed motion that HF2830 be re-referred to General Register. The motion prevailed.
HF3178 (Newton) School board election district dissolution without entering into a consolidation or cooperation and combination plan process provided.
Rep. Halverson moved that HF3178 be re-referred to General Register.

HF3178 (Melin) St. Louis County; Board of Commissioners 2014 election term changed to two years.

Rep. Simon moves adoption of
DE1 amendment. The motion prevailed.
