MINUTES
Representative Simon, Chair of Committee on Elections, called the meeting to order at 12:30pm on January 24, 2013 in the Basement Hearing Room of the State Office Building.
The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

A quorum was present.
Rep. Halverson moved approval of the minutes from the meeting on Thursday January 22, 2013. The motion prevailed.
HF122 (Norton) Vacancy nomination provisions modified.
Chair Simon moved that HF 122 be recommended to pass.

Chair Simon moved to amend HF122 (see attached amendment
H0122DE1, the delete everything amendment ) The motion prevailed. The amendment was adopted
Chair Simon move to amend HF122, as amended. (See attached amendment H0122A1). The motion prevailed. The amendment was adopted
Chair Simon renewed the motion that HF 122, as amended, be recommended to pass and be placed on the general register. The motion prevailed.
The meeting was adjourned at 1:37pm.
