Representative Atkins, Chair of Committee on Commerce and Consumer Protection Finance and Policy, called the meeting to order at 4:07 PM on March 19, 2013 in the Basement Hearing Room of the State Office Building.

Rep. Dehn moved that the minutes from the meeting on March 13, 2013 be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF 1377 (Hortman) Mortgage lenders and servicers loss mitigation required.

Rep. Hortman moved that HF 1377 be recommended to pass and re-referred to the Committee on Civil Law.

Rep. Hortman moved the H1377DE1 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

HF 662 (Laine) Health professional education loan forgiveness program provision modified, radon education disclosure required for residential real property, provisions changed for tuberculosis standards, adverse health events reporting requirements changed, poison control program modified, liability coverage provided for volunteer medical personnel and agreements to conduct criminal background studies permitted, occupational therapy practitioners defined, and prescribing authority amended for legend drugs.

Rep. Atkins moved that HF 662 be recommended to pass and re-referred to the General Register.

HF 459 Bisphenol-A in children's food containers sale prohibited.

Rep. Atkins moved that HF 459 be recommended to pass and re-referred to the General Register.

Rep. Atkins moved the H0459A3 amendment.

Rep. Atkins moved to orally amend the H0459A3 amendment by inserting the words "primarily" into lines 1.9 and 1.18 before the word "intended". THE AMENDMENT WAS INCORPORATED.

Rep. Atkins moved the H0459A3 amendment, as amended. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Rep. Atkins moved the H0459A4 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Rep. Atkins moved that HF 459 be recommended to pass, as amended, and re-referred to the General Register. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF 1060 (Atkins) Lawful gambling account, record keeping, other regulatory provisions, and paddle wheel provisions modified.

Rep. Atkins moved that HF 1060 be recommended to pass and re-referred to the General Register.
