MINUTES

Representative Lesch, Chair of Committee on Civil Law, called the meeting to order at 9:25 AM, Friday, March 21, 2014 in Room 10 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

HF2958 (Lesch) Human rights; jury trials required for unfair discriminatory practice civil actions.

Representative Lesch moves to re-refer HF2958 to the Committee on Judiciary Finance and Policy.

Representative Lesch moved to amend HF2958 (See attached A14-0951). THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

HF2543 (Hortman) Data classified, reporting requirements modified, permitting efficiencies modified and created, Pollution Control Agency duties modified, administrative penalty order and field citation provisions modified, civil penalties provided, rulemaking required, and money appropriated.

Representative Hortman moves HF2543 be re-refer to the Committee on Government Operations.

Representative Hortman moved to amend HF2543 (See attached H2543A5). THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

HF2918 (Morgan) Solar energy system residential use restrictions prohibited.

Representative Hortman moves HF2918 be re-refer to the General Register.

Representative Rosenthal moves to amend HF1961 (See attached H1961A1). THE MOTION PREVAILS. THE AMENDMENT IS ADOPTED.

Representative Halverson presented HF1961.

Representative Rosenthal renews his motion to re-refer HF1961, as amended, to the General Register. THE MOTION PREVAILS.
