MINUTES

Representative Lesch, Chair of Committee on Civil Law, called the meeting to order at 8:25 AM, Wednesday, March 12, 2014 in Room 200 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

HF2795 (Holberg) Driver’s license and motor vehicle registration data bulk transfer standards modified, and study required

Representative Holberg moved to re-refer HF2795 to the Transportation Policy Committee.

Representative Holberg moved to amend HF2795 (See attached A14-5228). THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Chair Lesch moved to re-refer HF2405 to the General Register.

Chair Lesch moved to amend HF2405 (See attached H2405A2). THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Chair Lesch laid over HF2405.

The committee recessed at 9:50 AM.

The committee reconvened at 7 PM.

HF2576 (Melin) Criminal record expungement governing provisions modified, business screening services required to delete expunged records, and eviction record expungement allowed in some cases

Chair Lesch moved HF2576 to be re-referred to the Public Safety Finance and Policy Committee.

Chair Lesch moved to amend HF2576 (See attached A14-0855). THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
