Representative Dean, Chair of the Rules and Legislative Administration Committee, called the meeting to order at 10:01 AM on March 19, 2012, in Room Basement of the State Office Building.
The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Banaian moved that the minutes from the March 14, 2012 meeting be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
Chair Dean moved that HF 2738 be sent to the General Register.
Representative Kiffmeyer testified on HF 2738.
Representative Thissen moved to orally amend HF 2738 as follows:
Page 1, Lines 1.18-1.19, strike "All voters must be subject to substantially equivalent eligibility verification prior to a ballot being cast or counted."
Patrick McCormack, Director of Minnesota House of Representatives Research Department testified.
