JUDICIARY POLICY AND FINANCE COMMITTEE

MINUTES

Representative Shimanski, Chair of the Judiciary Policy and Finance Committee, called the meeting to order at 8:17 A.M. on March 20, 2012, in Room 10 (ground floor) of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Anderson moved approval of the March 20, 2012 Judiciary Policy and Finance Committee minutes. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Drazkowski presented HF 2232. Department of Human Services data sharing required, public assistance fraud investigation required, and eligibility determinations required.

Representative Gruenhagen moved HF2232 be recommended to pass and be re-referred to the Committee on Health and Human Services Finance.

Representative Smith presented HF 876 as amended on March 13, 2012. Court hearing opening modified in delinquency or extended jurisdiction juvenile proceedings.

Representative Smith moved HF 876, as amended, be recommended to pass and placed on the General Register.

H2623A3 amendment to HF 2623. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMEMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Smith moved HF 749 be recommended to pass and placed on the General Register.

Representative Smith offered the following oral amendment to the H0749DE4 amendment:

On Page 2, Line 2.2 strike "2011" and insert "2012"

THE ORAL AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Smith moved the H0749DE4 amendment, as amended. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMEDMENT, AS AMENDED, WAS ADOPTED.
