Representative Abeler, Chair of the Health and Human Services Finance Committee, called the meeting to order at 12:33 P.M. on February 8, 2011, in Room 200 of the State Office Building.

Eric Dick, Manager of Legislative Affairs, Minnesota Medical Association, and Janet Silversmith, Director of Health Policy, Minnesota Medical Association, presented an overview on their Ideas for Change.
Representative Hayden moved the minutes from the committee meeting on February 3, 2011, be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
Karen Peed, Director of Managed Care Purchasing and Payment Policy, Department of Human Services, Scott Leitz, Assistant Commissioner, Health Care Administration, Department of Human Services, Dave Feinwachs, Transparency and Accountability in Government Programs, Ghita Worcester, Senior Vice President for Public Affairs and Marketing, Ucare, and Geoff Bartsh, Vice President of Public Policy and Government Relations, Medica, presented an overview of the Minnesota Health Plans Reporting Requirements.
Representative Kiffmeyer assumed the gavel at 2:08 P.M.
The meeting was adjourned at 2:20 P.M.
