GOVERNMENT OPERATIONS AND ELECTIONS

MINUTES

Representative Murray, acting Chair of the Government Operations and Elections Committee, called the meeting to order at 10:20 a.m. on Thursday, January 27, 2011 in Room 5 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

A quorum was present.

Representative O’Driscoll moved approval of the minutes from January 26, 2011. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE MINUTES WERE APPROVED.

HF 110 (Kahn) Pension Commission Membership

Representative Nelson moved that H.F. 110 be recommended to pass and be re-referred to the House Committee on State Government Finance.

Representative Nelson renewed his motion that H.F. 110 be recommended to pass, and be re-referred to the House Committee on State Government Finance. THE MOTION PREVAILED. H.F. 110 WAS RECOMMENDED TO PASS, AND WAS RE-REFERRED TO THE HOUSE COMMITTEE ON GOVERNMENT FINANCE.

The Committee heard an overview presentation on the Department of Administration.
