MINUTES

Representative Garofalo, Chair of the Education Finance Committee, called the meeting to order at 1:30 p.m. on March 13, 2012, in Room 5 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

HF1586 (McDonald) Motorcycle safety education program fund allocation provisions modified.

Representative Garofalo moved HF1586 be recommended to pass and be re-referred to the committee on Transportation.

Representative McDonald presented HF1586.

Representative Garofalo moved the H1586A1 amendment to HF1586.

Representative Garofalo moved HF2025 be recommended to pass and be re-referred to the committee on Government Operations and Elections.

Representative Garofalo moved an oral amendment to HF2025.

HF2625 (Peppin) Independent School District No. 728, Elk River, equity revenue adjusted by the metro equity region factor for students residing in the region.

Representative Garofalo moved HF2625 be recommended to pass and be re-referred to the committee on Ways and Means.
